enable-flash-ipad-iswifterApple iPad, the most popular tablet computer worldwide is a must have gadget nowadays. Recently I got one for me and trust me nothing can match an Apple product. The tablet stands out of the rest in terms of looks, performance and feel. But there are some limitations such as it doesn’t support flash by default.

Many websites use flash content such as videos, slideshow viewers, games etc. So when you browse to these websites using the default web browser in iPad, Safari, the area which contains the flash content appears to be blank. This is quite annoying since the content in flash is quite appealing and most of the times it has videos. So what is the solution? The Apple App store has a free app called iSwifter which allows you to see the flash content on any website. Just install this free iPad app and run it. It is like an alternate web browser to Safari.

Run the iSwifter app and enter the URL of the website you want to visit. This iSwifter app browser is quite slow as compared to safari but decent enough to work on. You need a high speed internet connection to use this App comfortably. So how does it work? iSwifter app executes the flash content of the website in its own data center and then sends the video to the iPad. This is a must have app for the all the iPad users.

Not only videos but with the help of this app you can play games such such as farmville which are based on flash. Apple has allowed this app to be available on the App store but don’t know for how long. Hope with the next upgrade Apple  approves the flash players to be used in the iPad so that we can browse normally with the default browser Safari.

Please do share you experience with the App and if you are using any other trick to play flash content on your iPad, do share with us below.
