LG India recently launched there flagship smartphone the LG Optimus 4X HD in Mumbai. Optimus 4X HD is powered by a 1.5Ghz Quad-Core mobile processor with a 4.7inch True HD display.
We were invited to the event to experience the product hands on. The phone has a nice design and good build quality which is expected by a premium phone in this segment. The phone runs on the latest Android ICS 4.0 operating system which is customised by LG specifically for Optimus 4X HD and it has added some new features as well like Quick Memo and Media Plex.
The dimensions of the phone are 132.4 x 68.1 x 8.9mm and it weighs 141g. LG Optimus 4X HD has a 4.7” TFT capacitive touch screen with a resolution of 1280 x 720. The phone has a 8MP camera with LED flash and it also hosts a 1.3 MP secondary camera.
Optimus 4X HD has an internal memory of 16GB which is expandable to 64GB and it also comes with a 50GB box.net cloud storage. For connectivity the phone has WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, AGPS, DLNA. The smartphone has a powerful 2,150 mAh battery.
The smartphone hosts a very powerful CPU. LG optimus 4X HD comes with Nvidia AP33 1.5Ghz quad core processor with 1GB of RAM which company claims that it will give the consumers a seamless experience. We will be testing the same soon once we get the review unit of the gadget.
At a price of Rs.34,990 it has a tough competition with HTC One X and Samsung Galaxy S3 which are being considered as the best Android Smartphone these days.
