Facebook is a second life for many users who spend more than twelve hours on it  without a break. Its like a new life but in a virtual world. Some of the Facebook users are more concerned about their image on Facebook than in the real life. So for those Facebook has introduced this feature where you can backup all your data such photos, wall post, comments and much more on your local computer so you can restore it  if somehow you loose it. Nowadays many of us directly upload our photos to Facebook so with this feature in order to keep them safe we can always back it up and secure it from losing.

Backup is very important as the number of hacking attempts are increasing day by day. For all those social networking addicts it would be a nightmare to lose all their content stored online. So Facebook has come up with this feature where you can backup all your content online with just a click.

Loosing your wall posts, photos, comments etc on Facebook is the last thing a Facebook lover may think off. So now its easy to save all that data on your computer. On other side it will also help those who have lost their photos stored on their PCs due to hard disk failure or some other reason.

How to backup Facebook?

Click the Account button on the top right hand side corner

Go to Account settings

Under the settings Tab you’ll find “Download your information”. Click the know more link

Then click the download button and the file will start downloading on your PC.

This tool lets you download a copy of your information, including your photos and videos, posts on your wall, all of your messages, your friend list and other content you have shared on your profile.

How useful is this feature for you?

I will surely try this. Any thing can happen any time, so it is better to backup all the data.
