Blogging, the best way to share your views on the topic you like. This was an ideal definition of blogging when blogs came into existence on the internet. People who wanted to share their personal lives with others had their personal blogs which lead internet users follow their favourite celebrity, friend or relatives.
But later came the social networking sites such as Orkut, Twitter, Facebook which completely revolutionised the internet world. Now users could share their lives and views with just a few clicks. So did this lead to the death of blogs? The answer is no. Earlier websites were the only way to share information on the internet and designing a website was not that easy. You need to have a basic knowledge of languages like HTML. But with the help of blogs especially CMS such as wordpress it became a child’s play to have website which used CMS.
So internet users who always wanted to start a website of their own to shared their expertise related to the niche they were comfortable with but didn’t wanted to design a website created blogs. Writing on a Blog is as easy as working on any word processing software. Just write an article and publish. Rest everything will be handled by the content management system.
So now the hassle to design a webpage was over but as the number of blogs increased the competition also increased. The competition was to get as much traffic as possible. Now internet marketing became popular. Earlier only big companies used the internet marketing techniques but now every blogger wants to do the same for their blogs.
As the bloggers knew more and more about the tips and tricks to generate traffic, they started working on more than one blog at time. But this lead to the deterioration of the content on the internet since for example a technology blogger started writing about health because it had a better conversion rate and low competition. So what started as a to platform express ones views now became a business to make money online.
Since the traffic that works the best as far as the earnings as are concerned is the traffic from search engines such Google, Bing, Yahoo etc. And these are mere computer algorithms which are not able to differentiate between the original and the copied or re-written content. So people started using black hat techniques which was to find loopholes in the respective algorithm and exploit it which made the blog operated by the SEO experts to rank well above the original blog in SERPs.
Nowadays people not blog because they are passionate about something rather they just want to make quick bucks online. They might call themselves as a blogger but they actually working as an internet marketer.
Well I don’t how many of you agree with me but would love to know your views below.

Most people are internet marketeers cum bloggers. Whats the fun if there’s no money involved
I started as a blogger and still am a blogger. I guess you turn into an internet marketeer only after people start appreciating your efforts and you start getting a lot of traffic and you suddenly feel you can earn some money with your blog. But you can’t turn into an internet marketeer unless you are a good blogger to start with.
can i take blogging as my full time profession?
Only when you are making a decent enough money from it and have a backup if anything goes wrong since blogging is not a very reliable source of income.
